I completed my doctoral degree at Lund University in Sweden (including a Fulbright year at New York University). I am currently a senior lecturer of philosophy of science and quantitative methods in psychology at Linköping University. I am affiliated with the JEDI lab.
I am a personality psychologist. I study the personal worldview, which I see as an important but neglected aspect of an individual's personality. I focus particularly on understanding the psychology of basic beliefs, moral convictions, and political ideologies. I am also very interested in philosophy of science, philosophical issues in psychology, research methodology, and the promotion of scientific thinking.
